spring break

I have had an eventful spring break so far.
Went to SF & back:

Babysat for 2 days. One the first day, I took him on a play date w/ Natalie. It started w/ independent playing. No acknowledgment of each other. Then progressed to fighting for the same toys. THEN 45 MINUTES of this:

He ended up with an owie on his foot, so Natalie played doctor. Must have learned it from her mother.

THAT was an eventful day. The next day I had a very chilled day with Aiden.

Monday, my coworker's sister came to visit with her little daughter, Natalie. This was also when Jonathan gave me my early birthday gift!! I was really bummed out on Monday, so he couldn't resist. It was perfect timing too because I was so bummed. He told me to just take a break from work and go take some pictures. I didn't feel like it, so he took the camera and started taking pictures. He then asked me to go into the bag and grab him another lens.

me: "which lens do you want?" I open the bag and see a large gold bag, but didn't think anything of it.

him: "oh, i don't know. which ever. i guess the wide angle."

me: I reach for the wide angle lens and was about to take it out.

him: "you don't notice?"

me: finally notices the large bag. "whoa, what's this????"

It was my much coveted 70-200 f2.8/L IS lens! I run upstairs to look for my coworker and see little Natalie! What a fun subject to test out my new lens. :)
