So our friend Z has been asking to see more videos of broccoli, especially after seeing this "stay" video I posted awhile back:
So I thought I'd make him a new video of Broccoli doing his "stick 'em up" & "bang" trick. So I held the camera in my left hand and shot him w/ my right:
As you can see, perspective is not good since his head got chopped off once he stuck 'em up. So I had J hold the camera for me.
Only problem is that J is usually not around or watches from afar, so Broccoli ended up being a little distracted with his presence. :\ And then when I told him to come here, I kept pointing to the ground, which is actually his command to lay down, so that's why he laid down. oops. I gave him mixed signals. I'll try again tomorrow.
I kept chasing broccoli around with the camera today. He was so annoyed with me. At one point, he hid under the dining table. I was able to sneak a shot of him laying out on the front porch finally.
Jonathan brought home some crawfish from the OC and I had some fun with our dinner. :)
Some think this is the meanist trick, but I think it's funny. Poor Broccoli...
So I've been feeding my dogs Science Diet since day 1. Lychee recently had a really bad allergic reaction to something. We're not sure what's she's allergic to, but we figure we might as well switch their diet to more natural and organic food.
Thank you LK for introducing us to Wellness and thank you Winnie for helping us pick some up. You're supposed to switch their food gradually so that their body could adjust, so I mixed half Wellness and half Science Diet. So what does Broccoli think of his Science Diet now?
On the floor is the Science Diet that he now refuses to eat. It's been such a mess around their eating area, so I stopped mixing the Science Diet with their Wellness. I have been experimenting between the different Wellness options and Natural Balance.
The outcome? Well, Lychee and Broccoli's least favorite are both the Science Diet, of course. Lychee seems to like the Wellness Super5 Chicken, whereas Broccoli seems to like the Wellness Fish & Sweet Potato. We just bought them the Wellness Super5 Lamb last night and they don't seem to like that too much, but I'll have to do another test because I only compared it against the Chicken and Fish for Broccoli and for Lychee, I only compared it to the Natural Balance. But hands down their favorite has been Natural Balance Potato & Duck.
If I add the Natural Balance to the mix, then they pick out and only eat the Natural Balance. Since the Natural Balance is an allergy formula, I'll just save the rest for Lychee and get Broccoli to eat the Wellness for now. I just have to stop mixing the foods because that makes them pick out only the ones they like.
