You can also modify this pattern to use circulars or if you prefer to decrease instead of increase, you could also knit this from bottom up.
It's my last day at work tomorrow! (YAY!)
I had gotten my closest co-workers goodbye gifts and thank you cards. There was only one girl I had not given anything to. I originally bought this fabric for another friend (can you take a guess? :P), but at the time of her birthday, I couldn't think of a purse that would look good with this fabric, so I made her a purse using another fabric instead.
So today I just went ahead and tried it. I ended up wanting to keep it for myself! This picture doesn't show the red lining. You can see it peaking from the top. I really like how the red and blue end up complimenting each other.
Even my furry kids think so:
I hate to admit, but they are getting older. We don't want them to get hurt jumping on and off the couch, so we bought them doggie steps. It's still taking them time to get used to. They still try to jump on instead. But they're better at walking up than walking down. They still jump off instead. Much faster, I guess.
My mom's birthday is tomorrow and I have been working on this scarf for her:
Pictured was after 2 sittings. I have doubled the length since. I have until tomorrow to finish it! I'm going to go sit on the warm porch now to crochet. It's freakin cold in here.
